A Place to Learn, Grow & Have Fun

OUR
programs

The national programs implemented by the Boys & Girls Clubs of America have had proven successful over the years and have taken care of the most unrelenting issues facing youth in today’s society. These programs have taken members from the Clubhouse to the White House, from the game room to the corporate boardroom, and from the high school orchestra to Carnegie Hall. The young men and women who complete our programs not only have mentors they can look up to, but also learn necessary skills to lead a successful life.

Commissioned research, which concluded in 2016 by Boys & Girls Clubs of America, strongly affirms the central principles of the Formula for Impact theory of change: By implementing a high quality Club Experience, Boys & Girls Clubs can increase their positive impact on young people. Moreover, the findings suggest that an Optimal Club Experience—as well as the fundamental individual key elements for positive youth development—are predictive of stronger youth outcomes in our three priority
outcome areas: Good Character and Citizenship, Academic Success, and Healthy Lifestyles.

Explore innovative programs designed to empower youth to excel in school, become good citizens and lead healthy, productive lives.

find a
club

Legacy Clubs: Our Legacy Clubs are traditional brick and mortar sites that offer programs and services to youth during out-of-school time and the Summer.

School Based: Our School Based sites are extensions of educational institutions that we have partnered with to make access easier to youth in need. Youth that attend our school based sites MUST be a student of the assigned school and register as a Club Member.

child safety is priority #1

The safety of young people at Boys & Girls Clubs is always our top priority. Youth who are mentally and physically safe are better able to learn, grow, and thrive.  Boys & Girls Clubs works continuously to enhance safety policies, practices, and trainings to ensure they are centered on youth’s needs. There is nothing more important to us than keeping children safe and protected.

What Our Youth Are Saying

"In my five years attending the Parkland Boys & Girls Club I have learned about loving myself, reading and more.  I have also been able to gain friendship and feel safe in my neighborhood of violence.  Most importantly I feel love by club staff and Ms. Angela. I never knew that people could love and care for a person as much as they do."
